A few weeks after the demise of Willow, I decided it was time to get a new Syrian. After buying a new tank, I bought Trunks (aka Fluffy, or The Tribble due to his fur and shape making him resemble said Star Trek creatures) on 21^st October 2003. Trunks is named after the son of the Saiyan Prince Vegeta in DragonballZ. A slight departure from the "witchy" theme I suppose, but Saiyans are arguably magical beings of some description....

Trunks is my first male Syrian hamster. Unfortunately this does mean he has certain....body parts that have a nasty habit of dragging across my hand. Not the nicest of thoughts....Still, he's very good-natured, although he doesn't get the attention he deserves. He doesn't tend to get up until around 23:00, and I normally go to bed by 23:30 as I sadly have to go to work. Not only that, by the time I've noticed he's up he's normally gone right round the tubing to his wheel!
