My first hamster was Manx, but I don't remember much about her except that she had babies on my birthday :)

The first hamster I can really remember is Jeri. She was a golden-tort-and-white Syrian hamster, bought around May 1999. When I bought her I was a Trekkie so I had a lot of Star Trek books; I chose her name by looking at the names of the authors, I came across a book by Jeri Taylor and I thought Jeri would be a good name :)

Jeri sadly passed away on Tuesday December 19th 2000 at 16:45. This page will be her memorial.
